The Theresa Building is located between 821-827 E. Long Street and sits in the Historical King-Lincoln District, located just outside of the central business district of Columbus, Ohio. Woods Development Group (WDG) recently renovated the property and moved its corporate headquarters into the building. The building is co-owned by Michael Woods (Woods Development Group, CEO) and Georgetta Lake. Along with WDG, three new businesses have moved into the newly renovated second floor.

Today, the building is ideal for a small to medium-sized business, providing a pleasant and healthy working atmosphere. The Theresa Building is the first project to be completed in the soon to be announced King-Lincoln Now Redevelopment Project. The recognized business address will project a successful image for your business with the availability of media outlets, meeting rooms, and a kitchentte. The first floor suites have high visibility from the street, making your business more attractive to customers.

The historical building was one of the first professional buildings for African Americans in Columbus, Ohio, that was designed by architect George W. Abernathy. When the building opened in 1925, it saw many different businesses, including doctors, pharamacists, realtors, and dentists. There also was a cafe and life insurance company. It was a center for business on Long Street by the early 1930s.

And as of today, the community is excited about the new developments taking place, like historic preservations, housing development, active neighborhood associations, and other new businesses.
