Michael L. Woods, Sr. is the CEO of Woods Development Group (WDG). Mr. Woods is responsible for managing all aspects of the development process, including: project feasibility, market evaluation, site acquisition, land planning and engineering, plus all aspects of the public entitlement process, such as: public incentive and zoning. Mr. Woods directs the management of all construction services and business consulting services provided by WDG. As an active partner with local non-profit community development corporations, Mr. Woods has facilitated several development partnerships between the public and private sectors.
Mr. Woods’s unique perspective in understanding architecture, construction, legal, financial and business consequences have been beneficial in helping clients to successful evaluate development deals.

Reginald E. Johnson, Sr., HCCP, M.B.A., CPM Candidate is a Partner and EVP Business Development at Woods Development Group focusing on acquisition, financial modeling and asset management. Mr. Johnson comes to WDG from Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority where he served as Vice President of Asset Management, Capital Improvement and Development for the Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority and was responsible for planning, construction and development and managing the Authority’s portfolio of properties and services.
Mr. Johnson guided the alignment of the Authority’s public housing communities with private sector management models and HUD rules and regulations. Mr. Johnson directed the management of housing operations functions including, the management, maintenance, inspection and modernization of properties, safety and crime, new construction programs, demolition and relocation of residents.

Mr. Wallace Woods brings over twenty five years of Management experience to the WDG Construction Team. Mr. Woods is the Lead Construction Manager, responsible for daily management and supervision of all construction crews in the Columbus Area.
Prior to joinging WDG, Mr. Woods was a Manager for the United States Postal Service. Mr. Woods managed (usually with the assistance of subordinate supervisors) for distinct functional areas, the actives of a large classified carrier station or branch with a very large number of employees providing delivery and collection services within or beyond a normal geographic area, through a large number of routes; window and box services; mail distribution and dispatch; and the processing or sale of non-postal products.

Mr. Woods founded WDG after leaving Moody Nolan, Ltd., where he was an Associate and Senior Project Designer/Design Manager. Mr. Woods has also had the pleasure to work for NBBJ (one of the largest architecture firms in the world) and Walt Disney Imagineering. While with NBBJ, Mr. Woods worked on complex multi-billion developments all over the world, including multiple mixed-use developments in Turkey and China. Mr. Woods’s experience with the world’s largest entertainment company (Walt Disney), gave him the opportunity to plan and develop some of the largest hospitality, retail, and theme park developments in the world.
Mr. Woods has more than twenty years of experience in the planning, design, and construction of diverse project types such as commercial, educational, cultural, religious, residential, and health care facilities. Mr. Woods exceptional design performance and strong client relationships, led to multiple national and international design awards. Mr. Woods’s work has been published in the top architectural periodicals, as well as been seen on the top architectural internet sites.
Mr. Woods is an active participant in the community, he serves on the Columbus Near East Area Commission (Business-AT-Large Commissioner), he also currently serves on several local Board of Trustees including, Engage Community Development Corporation, End Time Christian Church and Bell Bible College Central Ohio. Mr. Woods is also a Owner of United Partners Global Ventures, LLC.
Mr. Woods has received a Bachelors of Science in Architecture from the Ohio State University, a Master of Business Administration from Capital University School of Management, and a Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School. Mr. Woods is also a licensed General Contractor.
In addition, Mr. Johnson established and maintained productive working relationships with local, state and federal government entities, and the business and financial communities, community organization and citizens.
Mr. Johnson joined CMHA from Huntington National Bank, where he was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager responsible for the asset management of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), Historic Tax Credit Real Estate Investments, Venture Capital and Small Business Investment Corporations covering 5 states.
Reginald joined Huntington National Bank from Bank One Community Development Corporation, where he was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager. Reginald was responsible for asset management covering 15 states. His responsibilities also included managing a one billion dollar investment portfolio consisting of a $200 million dollar Commercial Loan Portfolio and $800 million Investment Portfolio.
Currently, Reginald serves on several local, state and national Board of Trustees including Housing Certified Credit Professionals, Columbus Public Schools – Finance and Appropriations Committee, Engage Community Development Corporation and The Ohio Community Development Finance Fund. Mr. Johnson is also a Owner and Fund Manager of United Partner Global Ventures, LLC.
Reginald received a Bachelor of Science degree from Franklin University and a Master of Business Administration from Ashland University.
Mr. Woods received a Associate Degree in Network and System Administration from DeVry University, Columbus, Ohio.
Timothy Brown
Senior Construction Manger
Timothy O. Brown is the Senior Construction Manager at Woods Development Group, LLC. (WDG). Mr. Brown is responsible for supervising and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Timothy has over thirty years of success in managing high profile building construction and renovation projects from inception through occupancy. Mr. Brown is 30 hour OSHA trained, with supervisory experience that includes: functional supervision of architects, engineers, estimators, project engineers, vendors, sub-contractors, and field superintendents.
Prior to joining WDG, Mr. Brown was a Contract Construction Manager for PM Architects, LLC. in Columbus, OH and Partner of Harris Brown, LLC.
Mr. Brown received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Science from Franklin University and an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Architectural Technology from the Columbus Technical Institute. Mr. Brown is also a former Vietnam Veteran who served in the United States Marine Corps.
